James M. Dean
Mr. Dean joined Keysoft Systems in May of 2005, after he acquired the company.  Since acquiring Keysoft, it has experienced growth with the addition of new employees added to the Keysoft team.  Additionally, Mr. Dean obtained HubZone certification for Keysoft Systems and is working to bring in new contracts.
 
Mr. Dean owns and has founded other companies.  He is an owner and founder of J5 Holdings, LLC; J5, Inc.; and J5 Systems.
 
Mr. Dean is the past President/CEO, and Chairman/Founder of ComGlobal Systems, Inc.  During his nine years of leadership as both Chairman and CEO, ComGlobal became a highly respected information technology company with headquarters in San Diego , California and numerous locations throughout the United States . Under Mr. Dean’s leadership the company grew to over 215 employees and had revenue of $40 million per year.
 
Mr. Dean received a Masters of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from California State University , Sacramento in 1989.  He obtained a Bachelors of Science with Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from California State University , Sacramento in 1981. He was invited to become a member of Tau Beta Pi, an engineering honor society.
 
Early in his career, Mr. Dean worked for the Department of the Navy at the Naval Ocean Systems Center (NOSC). From 1983 to 1987 he managed the research & development, testing, and validation of various advanced computer, communications, and information display systems at NOSC.
 
From 1987 to 1988 he was the Senior Systems Engineer for the Inter-National Research Institute (INRI) where he managed tasking with the Department of the Navy for design and development of new information technology systems.
 
Mr. Dean started the San Diego operations for Tiburon Systems, Inc. in 1988, as a Senior Systems Engineer. Between 1991 and 1995 he was the Director of San Diego Operations for Tiburon. At Tiburon, he directed the San Diego staff that performed software development, computer and communications systems engineering, hardware and software integration, testing, and documentation for advanced and innovative information technology systems.

 

Melissa Silva bioMelissa Silva
Ms.Silva joined the Keysoft Systems team as a Vice President in April 2011
and brings more than 16 years of programmatic and technical services
experience in SPAWAR and PEO C4I acquisition, systems engineering and
technical capabilityassessments. Ms. Silva has a broad range of knowledge
of both SPAWAR and PEO C4I programs and systems engineering products and
processes.

From 1992-1995 Ms. Silva worked in Washington, DC as a Project Manager
with the Naval Electronic Systems Security Engineering Center (NESSEC) for
Commander, Naval Security Group communications systems installations.
While in the Navy and stationed at NESSEC as a Cryptologic Technician-Maintenance (CTM), Ms. Silva worked as an installation technician/crew-chief for various projects at Navy facilities worldwide.

Ms.Silva earned an MBA in Technology Management from University of Phoenix-San Diego in 2001 and a BA in Communications from Virginia Tech in1986.

 

David A. Jentz
Mr. Jentz joined Keysoft Systems in July of 2001. Since then, he has largely spent his tasking as a Senior Software Engineer on the JCDX project where his experience has ranged from cartography to penetration testing to Cisco routers and switches. Mr. Jentz has also participated in the accreditation process, as well as JCDX installations in Australia, Japan, South Korea, England, and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

In addition, Mr. Jentz has represented Keysoft as a judge to the Greater San Diego Science & Engineering fair since 2002. He has authored several SBIR proposals; and represented Keysoft as a team member on a successfully proposed contract to SPAWAR Systems Center, valued at over $5.7 Million in the first year.

Mr. Jentz graduated cum laude and received a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2000. It was there he developed an affinity for his favorite subjects; calculus, complex variables, imagery, and machine vision.
